POLICIES · ACCEPTABLE USE

Acceptable use.

What you can and can't do with the free tools on this site. Last updated May 2026.

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules that apply to your use of the Alora Networks website at aloranetworks.com, including the free SEO audit, the threat assessment request flow, contact forms, and any other free tool we make available (collectively, the “Services”).

This AUP is incorporated into our Terms of Use and is binding on all visitors and users of the Services. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Authorisation: Domains You Submit

Several Services accept a domain or website URL as an input. You must have authorisation to request analysis of every domain or URL you submit. Specifically:

  • Threat assessment requests: By submitting a domain you confirm that you are the owner of the domain, an authorised representative of the organisation that owns the domain, or that you have express written permission from the owner to request external threat intelligence and attack-surface analysis for that domain.
  • SEO audit requests: By submitting a URL you confirm that you are the owner of the website, an authorised representative of the organisation that owns the website, or that you are submitting the URL with the owner’s permission. Submitting a competitor’s site, a third party’s site, or any site you have no relationship with is not permitted.

If we suspect that a submitted domain or URL is being analysed without authorisation, we may decline to produce the requested output, suspend the request, and (where applicable) notify the affected domain owner. We may also report unauthorised submissions to relevant authorities.

2. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services to scan, analyse, probe, or generate reports about systems, networks, domains, or websites you do not own or are not authorised to assess.
  • Submit URLs or domains belonging to competitors, suppliers, customers, or other third parties without their permission for the purpose of obtaining intelligence about them.
  • Use Service outputs for any unlawful purpose, including harassment, defamation, fraud, or to facilitate unauthorised access to any system.
  • Submit information you know to be false, misleading, or fraudulent, including fake names, false company affiliations, or disposable email addresses intended to circumvent fair-use limits.
  • Attempt to bypass, disable, or interfere with rate limits, security controls, or any other technical or contractual restriction on the Services.
  • Scrape, mirror, or harvest content from the Site, or use automated tools, scripts, headless browsers, or other non-human means to access the Services, except as permitted by our robots.txt and for the operation of standard search-engine crawlers.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive source code or internal logic from the Site, any free tool, or any output we produce.
  • Resell, sublicense, rebrand, or commercially redistribute Service outputs (such as SEO audit reports or threat assessment reports) without our written permission. Internal use within your own organisation is permitted.
  • Use Service outputs as training data for machine-learning models or to populate databases or competing offerings.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or impose an unreasonable load on the Services or the infrastructure that delivers them.
  • Use the Services to transmit malicious code, conduct security testing of the Site itself outside of our Responsible Disclosure process, or otherwise attempt to compromise the Site or its users.
  • Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

3. Fair-Use Limits

The free Services are provided as good-faith samples of what Alora Networks can produce. We reserve the right to apply reasonable fair-use limits to prevent abuse and to keep the tools available to legitimate users. Fair-use limits may include:

  • Limits on the number of audit or assessment requests per email address, organisation, or IP address over a given period.
  • Limits on requests from automated or programmatic sources.
  • Limits on requests for domains that appear unrelated to the requesting user or organisation.

If you have a legitimate need for analysis at a scale beyond fair-use limits, contact us about a paid engagement.

4. Information You Submit

Information you submit through the Services is governed by our Privacy Policy and the submission terms in Section 5 of the Terms of Use. In particular:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of every Submission.
  • You must not submit personal information about other individuals without a lawful basis under applicable privacy law.
  • You must not submit confidential information of a third party without that party’s consent.

5. Reporting Misuse

If you believe a Service has been used in violation of this AUP, including unauthorised analysis of a domain you own, contact us at:

Reports should include enough detail for us to investigate (the URL or domain in question, the approximate date and time of the incident, and any supporting evidence).

6. Enforcement

We may, at our discretion and without prior notice:

  • Decline to produce a requested output.
  • Suspend or revoke your access to the Services, in whole or in part.
  • Block submissions associated with a given email address, IP address, or organisation.
  • Notify the owner of a domain or URL we believe is being analysed without authorisation.
  • Cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties in response to misuse of the Services.

These remedies are cumulative and do not limit any other right or remedy available to us under the Terms of Use or applicable law.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Continued use of the Services after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated AUP.
